Chief Executive Officer

Jim began his career with Lewan & Associates in March of 1978 in our Colorado Springs branch and was soon promoted to Branch Manager. Prior to joining Lewan, Jim was employed by Haskins & Sells, (Deloitte & Touche) CPAs.

 

Jim, who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, is a Distinguished Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy's class of 1969 where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Engineering Management. He also holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at UCLA.

 

After graduate school, Jim was a pilot in the Air Force for five years and finished his Air Force career as a member of the faculty at the Air Force Academy. Jim has held numerous corporate positions at Lewan & Associates over his career starting with VP Finance in 1985, COO/CFO in 1995 and currently CEO since 2000.

 

Jim and Margaret Arnold live in Centennial, Colorado and have 2 children.

Fred is a transplant from Chicago and has resided in the Denver area since 1976. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison and began his career as a high school U.S. history teacher. He has been in the office technology business since 1977 and is a twenty-eight year veteran of the Lewan team. In that time, he has served in Government account sales, corporate training manager, computer division sales manager, and Vice President of Sales. Fred was promoted to President of Lewan & Associates in 2000.

 

He has an extensive knowledge of trends in the computer and office automation industry, and Fred has served on the advisory councils of most leading computer manufacturers. He and his wife of twenty-one years and their two girls reside near Castle Pines south of Denver.
