Are you still trying to figure a way to get rid of those expensive 2 part, 3 part, 5 part+ forms that are time consuming and costly? I think it is time you better understand what programs like Objectif Lune Planet Press or Prism DocForm can do to cut costs out of your business and improve the black hole of where documents are in from the initial sales order, invoices, purchase orders, shipping orders, bill of lading, shipping labels, etc.

Those forms are costly, and they require time to go through the paper in box and outbox to make the process happen. There are solutions out there in the market place that can do the order management from a website or call in order, and do it all electronically. There is no need to slow down the process with paper and multi part forms. The paperless process can improve efficiency and reduce operating costs for organizations.

Orders can be routed to order fulfillment from your ERP system or started with the order department with a phone order. Once the order is entered electronically, the completed sales order then can be sent to the order pick department. A shipping label does need to print for your shipping company, and then a packing slip could be printed or simply emailed to the customer based on all the original information once it is approved by the order fulfillment department from your ERP system. Tracking numbers can alert customers based on their email they filled into the ERP system on where there product is in the fullfillment, pick, shipping process to get them piece of mind their purchase is on the way.

Last, the documentation can then be archived to a content management system and made searchable immediately of all documentation from the sales order (electronic), pick slip (electronic), Shipping Label (printed for carrier), packing slip (electronic).
