You can run heavy substrates up to 350 gsm (130lb cover) while taking advantage of a very unique application offering called “Multipass Clear Dry Ink”. This is an excellent way to provide an ultra-glossy, eye-catching look that resembles varnish and can be applied to text, images or full page floods. It has a raised look and is exclusive to the Xerox Color Press 800/1000 with the EFI controller. No design knowledge needed, very basic point and click required on the controller to achieve the effect! Easy!
For example, you can apply this to watermarks on a parking pass, or tickets, signage, posters, short run book covers and marketing collaterals so that your information will have a “POP” effect!
